Well, it seems like that anyway.  I ran into some major creative block and burnout at the same time shortly after the Mego Meet and I'm just now recovering.  I put a lot into my craft back in June and completely exhausted my reserves.  I'm slowly getting back into it.  THe way my Tropic Thunder figure turned out makes me hopeful I'll continue to have success.

Where some people would never make such a statement or freely admit to their grand mastery of geekery, I have no problems telling and showing off what I do.  Yes, it's complete nonsense to some, but most are fascinated by the process.  The first question, always with a raised eyebrow, is "You really made that?"  Most can't comprehend a guy in his early 40's sewing little costumes.  My business cards are filled with action figure goofyness.  I love what I do and have no problems explaining the hows and whats of my crazy hobby.

I'm finally close to unpacking everything from the move.  I had sort of a burnout after Mego meet so I laid off a little, but the creative fire is slowly coming back.  I'm going with a different packaging format for starters.  I'm really digging how the card artwork melds with the figures.  It's hard to do on a box since the majority of the art is on the back.  I've got a lot of stuff in the works and in various stages of pre-planning.  I'll be delving into the Legion of Superheroes as well as reviving a long dead Mego line of figures, bringing them into a different scale.  Thanks for checking out my nonsense. Scott

Thanks for joining the Maniacs RA :)
woah, your work is really sick. I'm suprised you're going relatively un-recognized
THanks, bro. Yeah I kinda fly under the radar, which is fine with me. I was never into this hobby looking to make any real money. If I sell a few here and there that's fine with me. I just do what I do for the love of the craft. I appreciate the comments. It always makes my day when someone actually likes what I do cause I generally don't. I'm my ownn worst critic. Keep in touch.

Scott
do you not like making action figures?
